WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE 2016 - 2017 SERVICE YEAR!

The AmeriCorps VISTA program offers members a modest living allowance in exchange for a year of volunteer service at participating host sites.  Positions will start with a PreService Orientation (PSO) July 26-29, 2016.  Your year of service will be from July 30, 2016- July 29, 2017.  In exchange for serving full-time (40 hours per week) for 365 days, you get many benefits (see right sidebar for additional information on VISTA benefits).

Effective May 3, 2015: VISTAs are allowed to have part-time employment outside of their VISTA service, if pre-approved.
