EMERGE provides a wide range of services related to employment, job training, financial services, and housing. Most participants live in the neighborhoods where our facilities are located, North Minneapolis and Cedar Riverside. We partner with people who are facing significant obstacles as they redefine themselves. We aim to help our clients find a career pathway and financial stability.
Our staff have specific expertise in helping people who are re-entering community after incarceration, individuals who have been unemployed for long periods of time, and immigrants and refugees.
Often, we will help you get your first job through EmergeWORKS, our temp-to-hire staffing agency. And, if you need help with transportation to work, our ‘Access to Jobs’ program will help you get there.
Once employed, we continue to support you through our Financial Opportunity Center. A financial coach will help with budgeting, savings, building credit score and more. We believe that stable families build a strong and sustainable community.
If you are ready to redefine yourself, please check out our services and contact us for more information.

MFIP at EMERGE
EMERGE is also a provider for MFIP, Minnesota Family Investment Program. Through MFIP families move from welfare to self-sufficiency through employment. Services are provided both at our 1101 West Broadway headquarters and at our Brian Coyle Center location in the Cedar Riverside neighborhood of Minneapolis. Participants are referred directly by Hennepin County or another MFIP-providing agency.
