The
Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) is
Minnesota's welfare reform program that began in
January 1998.
MFIP
helps families work their way out of poverty by
expecting, supporting, and rewarding work.
This
program provides support for families that helps
them move from welfare to unsubsidized
employment.
EMERGE Workforce is a vendor of Hennepin
County's MFIP program receiving referrals
through the county system.
We
provide MFIP services at Unity House and the
Brian Coyle Center.
