MFIP (Minnesota Family Investment Program)

The Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) is Minnesota's welfare reform program that began in January 1998.

MFIP helps families work their way out of poverty by expecting, supporting, and rewarding work.

This program provides support for families that helps them move from welfare to unsubsidized employment.

EMERGE Workforce is a vendor of Hennepin County's MFIP program receiving referrals through the county system.

We provide MFIP services at Unity House and the Brian Coyle Center.
