Transportation Services
 Providing more than 25,000 rides annually to
job-seekers and participant employees to and
from job sites. EMERGE Workforce provides
transportation services to EMERGE program
participants and job seekers.
Van transportation is coordinated through
company and route scheduling with the intention
of providing consistent van transport services
to enable participants to obtain and retain
employment when public transportation is not
readily available.
Van connection locations are established
between North and South Minneapolis as pick up
and drop off sites for program participants who
work 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, weekends and
holidays.
Van transport services are also available for
job search purposes such as job interviews, job
fairs, and other pre-employment related
activities. The van coordination hub is operated
at Unity House. |
